Somewhere in the body, a burnt house takes shape, built from early memories seen through the eyes of adulthood. The mother lives inside as a caring monster, preserving the objects left behind. The film compresses experiences of a medicalized adolescence, sexuality, and identity into a series of vignettes viewed through a decaying vision, where the past has become a physical structure that can be moved through and revisited.
