Scanning is available, outsourced to Memory Lab. I handle the shipping and handling of your film both ways — you don't need to arrange that yourself. Allow around ten days depending on postage speed.

R.O.T-Lab is also a production consultancy for anyone shooting on film — whether you're completely new to the medium or an experienced filmmaker who just wants space to experiment.

We can walk you through the whole process: ordering the right camera and film stock, budgeting your production, working out what stock suits a particular scene, and taking it through to processing and final result.

We also offer AC / camera assistance on set.

The consultancy comes from an experimental and DIY background. If you're chasing a specific look or technique, we can help test for it and work out how to achieve it.

It's a tailored, hands-on approach — grassroots at heart, aimed at getting more 16mm projects made.

A monthly workshop covering basic camera skills and processing at its core — but going beyond the basics to show what's possible with the medium: direct film work, printmaking, chemistry manipulation, and other experimental analog techniques.

A 50% deposit and proof of ID are required for all camera rentals.
