R.O.T-Lab is a community darkroom and analog film lab based in Bangkok, working across 16mm and Super 8. Run by filmmaker and cinematographer Rot, the lab operates as both a creative space and a working studio — a place for hand-processing, printing, and experimenting with film as a physical, tactile medium.

Alongside processing and camera rental, R.O.T-Lab runs public workshops centered on experimental cinema — shooting, hand-processing, and manipulating film through methods that keep the medium accessible outside high-end production. It also works privately with artists on tailored workshops and projects, developing techniques specific to what a person is trying to make.

Film is a medium that rewards experimentation and R.O.T-Lab exists as a space to do that, whether dropping off a roll to process, joining a workshop, or building something more particular one-on-one
